Number fifteen. A nice nearly new later 1909 or early 1910 touring car. Nearly new car, but undersides of the fenders are already filthy! Love those lady's hats!

I agree Wayne! On everything you said! Sheesh those HATS!!!

And Tom, thanks for that first pic! I'm hiding here in the den from todays 92 degree heat! For those who aren't maybe aware, but this is THE LAST WEEK of meteorological summer...I always go by that. Sept. 1 starts fall. Summer is going out with a bang!! 97 expected tomorrow, heat index over 104!! :(

I love that first photo! Perhaps that cuddly blankie is a big help keeping that coupe warm? At least it kept snow from blowing through the radiator and piling up around the motor. Chains on, but the rear fender is packed with snow. The driver probably just barely made it home last night. If that car has to move today, it will be a while yet! I wonder what inducements the owner applied to get her going ? Boiling water in the radiator ? Blow-torch on the manifold ? Jack up the rear wheel ? Maybe light a fire under the pan ? All or some after a LOT of shoveling !!

Meanwhile, the horse looks fairly unperturbed. Like as not, hitched to a “cutter”. (one-horse open sleigh)

Note, tread on the front tire looks awfully like today’s Universal T Driver tire.
Get a horse !

I believe it's an Oakland. Maybe 1910ish.

The T in first pic is warm, it may be running, the snow is melted off the hood and firewall. Horse standing in knee-deep snow, model T in 2 foot drift, what great weather! Thanks for posting, jb
