Engine and transmission rebuilder.

Post by Chris Haynes » Tue Sep 10, 2024 10:35 pm

Living in Los Angeles I am looking for a great re-builder. Please don't mention H&H.

I used Gorge King and have a great engine. But I guess he's a bit out of reach for you.
As Tom Sellick told Marston in the movie Quigley Down Under, I told you I dont have much use for handguns, I never said I didn't know how to use them!

Larry Blair is a well-known southern California T guy. If he's too busy, maybe he can recommend someone. Larry Smith, Kim Dobbins, Gene Carrothers and Derrick Pang are also T guys. Maybe one of them can steer you in the right direction.

Chris, In Orange County there are two guys. Tom Leroux who has a shop that hosts the Long Beach work parties and has done many local engines. He has lots of good contacts for machine and balancing work. Johnny Von Karvaly is another very expert and experienced T guy that is a frequent poster here on the forum is another contact point.

Don't forget to stop in this weekend to watch us race up the Shell Hill again to celebrate Signal Hills 100 Birthday!

See you there!

Gene,

Can someone post videos of the Hill Climb this Weekend? That sound like it will be super fun

Tim
