Virginia City, NV. w/ REMTC Chapter and a visit to Rumbleseat Garage
Just want to let you all know what we are up to out here on the west coast.
About a dozen Ts and 30 of us from the Redwood Empire Model T Club toured in and around Virginia City, high in the Nevada mountains, for 3 magnificent days last weekend. All of our meals with the exception of our final banquet were cooked and served outside our hotel in perfect weather by our amazing tour leaders.
Then, on the way home after this wonderful gathering, I stoped in at Erik Barrett’s Rumbleseat Garage in Alburn, CA. where he and sidekick Robert Weitzel tuned my sluggish ignition or should I say they directed me in getting it tuned by my own hand. It’s always a great experience visiting those guys.

Lucky lucky! Looks like great fun and great area also. Don't know why anyone wants to travel outside the country when we're blessed with so much, and enough, here! I love the train! Thanks for posting.

Some memories last for decades. The road going into Virginia City from the south was so steep that a 1954 Plymouth and a 1955 Studebaker had to go in another way.
The inevitable often happens.
