Under-the Hood Rain Deflector

Post by TillieTheTouring » Fri Sep 27, 2024 8:06 pm

Some years ago, all the guys in my Model T club were installing a tin plate with a crease in it that sat under the hood on the radiator rod, the purpose of which was to keep rain off the spark plug wells. I can't seem to find this fix on the internet- it really worked, and I'd like to install these on the T's I have now. Does this ring a bell?

I simply cut a piece of aluminum. Cut slightly long to go over the radiator and then pull back to sit on two nuts on the firewall. Painted black so it doesn't stand out. Works perfect.
