Side curtains
Any recommendations as to who can make and sew side curtains for a hack or huckster. Prefer 250 mile radius from Fort Wayne IN.

Re: Side curtains
A lot of folks use places that custom make boat covers. Be specific if you want the curtains to look period correct.
Since I see you're in Indiana, you might also think of using an Amish craftsman. Your project would not seem so foreign to them.

Re: Side curtains
Jerry makes a great suggestion. Find an Amish upholstery shop. I had side curtains made for my Touring - cost $200.

Re: Side curtains
Hello Jay, there are many canvas and buggy shops in Lagrange county where I live. You know where that is.

Re: Side curtains
I guess I am lucky. I make my own. I've also done a couple of tops. I also go by the print, and have used originals for patterns.

Re: Side curtains
There’s a tarp shop in Walnut Creek, Ohio, Erb’s, that a nice Amish guy owns with his sons. He will do just about anything you need, using the materials of you choice. He has done several projects for us, including side curtains, tops, open trailer covers, rear boots. Very reasonable. If you go to see him, he and his sones REALLY like donuts!!! And eat at Rebecca’s bistro for breakfast or lunch when you are there. 330-893-0151. Leave a message. He or one of the boys will call you back!
