Why does AI keep changing the grille and the wheels?

Somebody doing that design has no concept of a Model T.

AI is not a thing....AI is simply another tool driven by human input.

What I find interesting though, is in our modern world of soulless bubble cars, futuristic designs such as this always seem to modernize a classic design of the past. Just goes to show style hasn't fully succumbed to its apparent death....
Call me anything you want...just so long as it isn't "late for dinner"

I'm thinking a Stanley Maserati Studebakermobile. With a Fuierdi (what is that, Pujinistani?) script oval.

Nothing Model T about that.
The body suggests an altered 1936 Ford coupe, with fenders and the rest straight out of a high end custom shop.
It could be built out of fiberglas at great expense. It could be built out of metal at extreme expense.
If I had the money, I'd just cut to the chase and buy an Auburn.

Remember, there was a series which started with A before the Model T. Then there were at least 3 later on with the new series starting in 1928. Models A, B, C. Then V8. So it is not inconceivable that Ford could start a new series of electric cars with the letter T.

I've never heard of the 'C'. What year was that?

Ford made model C pickup trucks in 1933 and 34 with a 4 cylinder engine if my childhood memory serves correctly.

My understanding is that the “C” was also available as a 4 cylinder car with a 4 cylinder engine with a counterbalanced crankshaft in 33-34!

I think the C model was dubbed as such because it had a large letter C cast in the cylinder head. That head had the water pump mounted on the front face with three bolts like the V8s, but with a longer snout. On the A's ans B's the water pump was mounted on top of the head. It did have a fully counter weighted crankshaft. If anyone has a need for a C model head, I have a really nice one available, cleaned, crack tested, primed and faced ready to fit.

I'd like to have a Model B Ford, or a C, if such exist. I'd like to have a counterbalanced B motor in a Model A.

Pat, the counterbalanced crankshaft did not come in a B motor. It got the larger bearing journals than the A. The C model maintained these larger journals and the counterbalanced crankshaft.

BS. You couldn’t pay me to own that and it is an insult to call it a Model T. What are they thinking. It is not remotely similar to the Model T so why are they trying to compare it to one. If they want to designate a letter for it, they should call it the Model Z.

The name “Model T” is nothing more than a copyrighted term anymore. No different than any of the other resurrected models of yesteryear (ie; Challenger, Charger, FJ, Hemi, Maverick, Bronco, etc…). A cheap sales ploy to lure in the ignorant by pretending to have prestige. In the same way that “steampunk” fantasizes history, we are looking at romanticized version of a thing that never was

I would not have one. Which doesn't really matter since it will never exist except on computer screens.

This immediately brings to mind the new Jaguar that's being advertised. Another car that will never be built.

My guess is that since the car is electric, the T is for Tesla, but that name is already taken. I hope that Ford had nothing to do with that video - It was
very poorly done. The audio didn't line up with the camera shots. The announcer spent time talking about the interior, but the video never showed it. I am also concerned about it's crashworthiness. I agree with those who say that it will never be built, but if Ford wants to leave it in my driveway - I'll find a space for it.

Model A: 1903-1904
Model B: 1904-1905
Model C: 1903-1905
Then there were a few others, followed by
Models N, S, and T in 1908-09.
The inevitable often happens.

This reminds me of the "New VW Beetle" from a few years back. Not very successful as I recall.
The new model had modern convenience features, but none of the charm of the original.

Makes you wonder what Ford was thinking this time.

They'd have had more success to make the " New Beetle" a copy of the 70s Super Beetle on the outside, with a plushy interior, 500 watt sound system, and a good HVAC.. a water-cooled flat four would probably have been needed, and about 250 HP and 6 to 8 gears. Some way to turn the windshield into a see-through infotainment screen would also be needed.... and tires in the 36" X 18" range and an air suspension system to drop the body on the ground on demand.
