A tragedy that need not have happened.

Both are in stable condition but my brother-in-law's nephew will be in the hospital for a few months with a brain injury. His friend had his intubation tube removed and is in good spirits. He needs more surgeries on his legs.

They are on an extended leave from the military. They came here to Nebraska first. They borrowed my old F-150 and toured the western US. They dropped off the truck at Thanksgiving, rented a car and headed east to do more exploring. They were at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Unnecessary political comment respectfully deleted. Apologies.

There's a lot I don't understand either Mark.

I don't understand the totally disproportionate response inflicted by the IDF on the civilian population of Gaza and the destruction of health infrastructure that is going on.
I don't understand why Israel is provided with billions of dollars worth of US munitions to use in attacks on neighbouring countries while the US provides arms to Ukraine with limitations that they only be used within Ukraine.
I don't understand why an arson attack on a Sydney synagogue Is labelled a terrorist act of anti Semitism, rather than a possible misguided act of retribution for the continuing carnage in Gaza.
I don't understand that Israel is able to continue it path of destruction without condemnation from those complicit with their support.
It is unbelievable.

If this response sees me banned from the forum, so be it. I will miss being able to work with all of you, but I could not sit by and remain part of the silent majority.

You have to remember something. Terrorist do not value life, and use the vulnerable to shield themselves from harms way. You and I value hospitals and the care they provide and don't wish harm to the people inside. The terrorist know this and use it to their advantage for their protection. There is alot of footage indicating the areas under hospitals are used by the terrorist. As for ukraine, Sadly the US should not have gotten involved as now we are for all practical purposes at war with another nuclear super power. This post may need to go to off topic in case it would offend anyone. No reason it should. but you never know.
If you can't help em, don't hinder em'
