Plans for huckster
I’m looking to put a roof on an open huckster. Seeing if anyone had any plans on how to build it. Thank you

Re: Plans for huckster
Tim, so I haven’t built a huckster, but I am building a delivery car. The way the roof is constructed might be pretty similar. The roof section consists of 1” wide 5/16” thick slats that run from front to back and are spaced 3/4” apart. I’m using maple but what ever wood species you desire can be used. The slats are then nailed onto the roof bows. I will then cover the slats with batting over the top then followed by duck canvas (pre washed) stretched over the batting. Have fun!
