For an oval tank, empty.

Depends on driving conditions. The tank is under the seat, so if you are going uphill you will need at least 3 gallons. On level or downhill, you can run until it is empty.

Considering the sediment bulb is 1/2" pipe and normally is protruding up into the tank a bit, until she quits running !

Re: Fuel Level in Round Tank
Also depends on whether or not there is any added restriction in the fuel routing, either by design (like an added fuel filter?) or by material failure (kink in the tubing, Shellac build up due to old gasoline, rust flakes, or any of a hundred other things?).
On level roads, any standard model T should be able to run the gasoline tank down to less than a half cup of gasoline left.
I have literally seen a model T touring car stop running, after a long drive, with a gasoline tank so dry that not even a wet spot could be seen on the end of the wooden dip stick.
