starter newbie question

Post by KWTownsend » Thu May 29, 2025 8:39 pm

All of my cars have Armstrong starters, so I don't know these things about starter motors...

If a Model T engine does not have field coils for the magneto, does the bendix still have to be removed before removing the starter or putting it back on?

Yes flywheel with the starter ring gear occupy the space
Everything works in theory.
Reality is how you determine if something works or not.
