A Model T Radiator Source
Is there anyone still making Model T Radiators here or in China?
If not, is anyone planning to start building them?

Re: A Model T Radiator Source
Brassworks had been out of production for a time, due the the foundry not being able to supply the fittings. They are back in production now.

Until they folded a few years ago, Berg's was the place to go for black-era radiators. I was sorry to see them go.

A member of the San Antonio club, who is a forum member, told me that he had a black T radiator, re-cored by a shop here in San Antonio, a decade or two ago, and that although it was flat tube (as I recall), the shop even put the heavy steel bar between the tubes in the lower part of the radiator between the mounting points.

If you can find a shop that works on older tractor radiators that will be your best bet in getting a recore. The shop here in the Waco Texas area did a recore for me that was fine. The shop also works on heavy truck radiators and builds radiators for replacements. The owner had a source that makes flat tube radiator cores in different sizes that you can have have cut into the size you need and install it. The flat tube radiator cores cool a lot better than round tube in my opinion.
If you have good upper and lower tanks that might be the way to go if you’re not a purist and want a good looking and driving T.
Most of the modern shops don’t work on copper core radiators but pretty much aluminum and if you brought a T or other old radiators they usually are afraid to touch it. It’s cheaper to buy a new one or a good on out of a wrecking yard these days anyway.

Re: A Model T Radiator Source
I bought a flat tube radiator for my 26 from Brassworks this last winter. A little pricey but I got it in about 2 weeks. Looks good, fit good, and cools great.
