That’s the “new” logo associated with the “new” Model T, a product line of modular electric vehicles

Inability to create something new so they will try to ride on something that was, hardly surprising. Is this on topic?

If you don’t recognize the “new” logo is an update of the one Ford used practically all through Model T production, then, I guess it is off topic. I found it amusingly interesting.

Will Persyns of Egyptian descent claim "cultural appropriation" and launch a massive lawsuit?

Elaborate solutions to non-problems are inherently wasteful.

I am disappointed with Ford's logo decision. Now, as I proudly wear my MTFCA hat honoring the historic car and it's logo, I will be asked countless times, "Oh! You have an electric car?"

Great.

As the old saying goes, persons who do not learn from history are bound to repeat it.

The logo above shows a logo based on the one used by the Ford Motor Company for a period in the early days of the Model T. It shows a pyramid to illustrate that it has stood the test of time.

The wings are from the scarab beetle that can move many times it's own weight....... IN DUNG! That's why the other name for the scarab beetle is..... THE DUNG BEETLE!

When this fact was pointed out to Henry, he ordered the immediate stop to the use of this logo in all printed media and it's use in all signage.

Th article for the Logo https://www.fromtheroad.ford.com/us/en/ ... tric-truck
The concept indicated in the LOGO "The Universal Vehicle" seems to imply a Ford Universal EV Platform reduces parts by 20% versus a typical vehicle, with 25% fewer fasteners, 40% fewer workstations dock-to-dock in the plant and 15% faster assembly time.

But will they rust out in 8 years?

Back to their roots.

One platform

Roadster, touring, coupe, centerdoor, sedan, all the same platform.

Sounds familiar.

We may never know… the average electric car ownership is currently only 3 years, compared to 12 years for gas powered. With the average car loan being 5-7 years these days, apparently the true goal of “clean propulsion” is to maximize consumer debt…?!

I believe electric vehicles presently are being bought by those with the means to pay for them without a loan. They can avoid range anxiety/ battery drawdown by changing sooner than they would normally, leaving subsequent owners to deal with this.

It is good to see Ford adopting charge back to the grid facility in their electric vehicles. This allows solar power generated in the daytime and stored in the car battery, to be sent to the grid in the evening when demand is high. If Elon did this his power grid would suffer.
