Throttle linkage rod is too short.

Post by LittleTimmy52 » Wed Sep 10, 2025 11:54 am

I have a 1917 touring, but instead of the l2 I have the l4 Kingston carb, I've always noticed that the butterfly valve on the carb doesn't close all the way cause the linkage is a tad short and or the connection on the valve is bent looking. What length of rod should I get to replace it? And is this part bent, it seems to me like it is.

Yes, the carb. throttle lever has been bent. Post a photo of the other end.
