Help received from a Simmons/Wizard carb owner - THANK YOU

Post by Scott_Conger » Tue Dec 09, 2025 4:40 pm

I foolishly sold my last complete Wizard awhile ago, and now cannot find my sketch of the adjuster needle - I have some basic measurements but not a couple details that I'd like to have.

Here is a new adjuster needle and I would like someone with an AUTHENTIC Wizard carb that isn't on their car to please compare the visual of my needle to theirs...I am not sure if the threads need to go all the way to the end of the brass or not. I have a Wizard carcass, minus the needle and my part seems to fit just fine but I'd like to be sure, so if you have one on the shelf please consider taking a moment and comparing my picture to your actual part.

Many thanks and regards
