What I did not do to my model t

Well I found parts and put my 26 pickup together before the Mtfca existed, now I see things that did not get done. It has not ran in 55 or so years but it is paid for.
Yesterday I needed some decorations that were on the left side of it and the best way to get to them was to slide under it. Started under and grabbed the wishbone and I could shake it up and down. Also there was no tie wire between the wishbone cap bolts. Little things I did not know about as a kid. I am sure I will find more as time goes on.
Have been doing things slowly and thinking about pulling the engine some time and putting in a new ring gear and rebuilding the mag coils and charging the magnets. Then I could use the starter as the ring gear is bad. Also need to take the Ruckstell apart and replace the babbet thrust washers.
Do not know why the right door will no open without force. Acts like the body has sagged on the right and holding it tight, latch releases OK. It is only 20 years older than I am and I guess it has a right to get a little stiff.
I used to run it with adapted 16 inch wheels on the back and 21 inch on the front. I was lucky, never had a flat and no spare. Did come home one day when I had 30 inch tires on the front and had a big goose egg sticking out the side of a front tire.
I guess we did things different when we were young and had little money. We learn from our experiences. Gas cost a buck and a half for 5 gallons.
Now to get my 23 out of the other garage.
