Rest in peace Dick Hautzinger

Post by Jerry M » Sat Jan 10, 2026 7:34 pm

Hello everyone. A very sad day here, Dick Hautzinger passed yesterday. I was very fortunate to know him for quite some time and travel to many swap meets, shows with him. I was always surprised by the amount of people that knew him wherever we traveled. His knowledge of Model T’s was endless.

A wonderful family man and friend to many that will miss him.

Sincerely
Jerry Mulchrone

I was just thinking about him the other day.
He was a great guy and he always had an eye for great parts.
He will be missed.
Sincere condolences to the family.
Brent

While I never had the personal honor of knowing Dick, there are many in our local Rockford Model T chapter that remember him fondly. He was a frequent vendor at Little Hershey swap meet in Belvidere, and new almost everything about model T's and accessories. He will be sorely missed by many members of our Hobby. Condolences to his family and friends, from the Rockford Model T chapter.
Just a 20 year old who listens to 40 year old music, works on 75 year old airplanes and drives 100 year old cars.
The past is only simple because hindsight is 20/20.
