I have had to get new bearings for a 920-1 cast iron warford this week. Old MTFCA posts were helpful, but I don't think there was anything recent so I will post some information to aid people who might be rebuilding one.
This is old information that I am pretty sure was published directly by Warford:

Re: Warford Bearings
Even among the cast iron units there are apparently differences so be sure to verify things yourself first.
I question if there is not a typo in the bearing part numbers in the picture above
As of January 23, 2026 the following bearings were able to be purchased
Output Shaft: 32208-TIM Tapered Roller Metric Assembly
*original dimensions except thickness. Preload adjustment should ensure this is not an issue this is the bearing that I took out of my transmission so who knows how long it was successfully in the transmission.
**The sales person did say there was one original F285M cone and 283M cup showing in stock at a different bearing house, but inferred it was $$$. This bearing last appeared in a 1956 Timken catalog!
07098-TIM Tapered Roller Cone 0.9835" 2
07204-TIM Tapered Roller Cup 2.047x.500" 2
2720-TIM Tapered Roller Cup 3.000x.750" .13R 1
2789-TIM TR Cone 1.5625" .06R 1
19283-TIM Tapered Roller Cup 2.835x.563" 1
19138-TIM Tapered Roller Cone 1.377" 1
I shopped around on the internet a fair bit and contacted a couple places then was referred to Darryl (SP?) at EZ-Bearing who was really a big help so I will pass this on and hopefully it will help others:
EZ-Bearing
1639 Rothsville Rd, Lititz, PA, 17543
(717) 563-8800
I was told to ask for Darryl because he knew how to look for the old stuff. He was an excellent resource and did not rush me with all of my questions and part numbers.
(apparently EZ Bearing is more of a wholesaler and specializes in Ag bearings)

Re: Warford Bearings
This is an older bearing list that was compiled and posted to the forum years ago:

Re: Warford Bearings
Ok, last one before bed.
The transmission had a fair bit of oil leaking on it from where oil leaked past the shift fork rails since they exit the housing in two places each. The paint seemed to hold up to the oil well in some places but other places the paint peeled away in sheets (primer and all). I think that the iron casting is rather porous and the oil seeped through the housing and loosened the primer leading to paint failure.
To that end the cast parts and covers were de-greased, blasted, washed down with paint de-greaser, masked and painted inside and out with Glyptal which will then be baked by placing it near the stovepipe of my furnace to satisfy the 125 deg Celsius bake that is recommended. Glyptal is known to be oil resistant and is commonly used to paint interiors of blocks to help oil run back to the sump T's are hardly race ready, but if you ever have to open up that pan access cover you will see the value of this stuff when you see how clean things are!

Re: Warford Bearings
Aluminum Warford input & output bearings are the same size as Model A bearings just like a Muncie. I use the double sealed ball bearings.
