Don't know if this has been posted here before, found it while browsing aimlessly on the interweb, have a look at the crazy construction of the frontend, the accident apparently was waiting to happen

The photos make me wonder about a lot of technical issues, like how did the rear driveshaft and the drivers butt get along

, and how did the front get its drive, straight from the front pulley

and the front spindles don't seem to have upper support
Obviously the unsupported rear tube axle was not up to the forces of dirt track racing

When in trouble, do not fear, blame the second engineer !
