Post by Bud Delong » Mon Sep 09, 2019 12:25 pm

I watched the video twice and i saw Ed and Dean Yoder but there is not much comment from so many? I saw Dallas and his special TT but alas no Rob and the K Whisper? I wonder what Stan Howe thought of the OCF?? Bud.

I know they were there. Someone on the AACA forum made a comment about the "two blue" model K touring cars and the model K "red roadster".

Rob was definitely there with the 6-40. He was about 9 cars down from me on the street. Joan Kelly and son Jeff were there with their blue K. Lots of Early Ford Registry cars were there.

I saw a photo of what I was sure was Tim Kelly's blue model K. I asked there who had the car there, but did not (yet?) see an answer. Nice to hear the family is showing it. Tim was younger (I think?) than I. I was shocked when he passed away.

Tim Kelly had pancreatic cancer. It was great to see his wife Joan there and Jeff with his wife and kids. They are a great family to know.

Thank you David H. I had wondered and didn't want to push at the time. So very sad. We lost my wife's sister (hard to believe it is getting close to thirty years ago!) to a stomach cancer. It and pancreatic cancer are closely related. The cancers develop in the most hostile environments the human body has to offer. The cancers that develop in those acidic (digestive) environments are nearly impervious to chemo and radiation at levels the rest of the body can survive. Certain liver cancers have similar issues. It is a really tough thing for a family to deal with.

My apologies for drifting this. Let us get back to the wonderful memories of the OCF!
