I'd put the cast one on the right and the stamped one on the left to be on the safe side, and possibly change em round on even years... :lol:

The stamped design for the cotton web top to windshield strap came out in 1920. Ford designated it "A2" and the earlier forged design, which was continued alongside the new stamped design, was "A1". However, about 95% of 1915 cars had leather top to windshield straps, with the earlier forged buckle hook.

Like R.V. posted, original 1915's show leather straps with the cast iron belt buckle type hook.

Makes sense too with the wear on this stamped steel windshield dogbone, note the wallow from the cast iron hook wiggling on that steel ;)

Offset hinges - '17 & later, I believe.
