From my youth on the farm I remember the crank starts and I always had an affection for wood spoke wheels. In my later years, I wanted to bring a Model T back to life. This ‘24 T was a deliberate build that I wanted to look old but be solid. And as a machinist I wanted to fit this T correctly and functionally.

Some of the additional details;
engine overhauled
radiator rebuilt
transmission overhauled
new pins and bushings
Kevlar bands
jack rabbit clutch
new universal joint
new driveshaft bushing, housing bored and bushing machined to match
new thrust washers in rear end, machined for fit and function
new brake linings
leaf springs taken apart, painted with graphite paint and reassembled
rebuilt pickup box
new floor
new u-channel
new floor boards

Feel free to provide feedback. Thanks, John

I'm guessing with no generator and a crank start, if it has a battery at all, it is probably just a small one possibly under the seat just to buzz the coils for battery start, then switch to mag...but who knows...

I don't believe Ford would have made these pickup boxes without the battery access plate since it was a $25 option anyway.

If you look at the photo of the underside of the bed there is no battery or holder frame to be seen. Jim
