I am posting this for a friend. It has been called a 1912 but I see later parts.

Interesting overhead valve head.

He also has the carbide generator, oval gas tank and trunk, along with a monocle windshield frame.
We are trying to establish what it might be worth.

Any way to get an engine photo with that rag in the middle of the overhead removed ? That almost has to be the water outlet ? Anything "special" done to the block ?

This head is a real mystery. I’m leaning towards a marine application since it probably has a water outlet in the center of the head. I’d like to know the maker. A lot of interesting features on this one.

I haven't gotten over there to photograph the car. Kent may take some pictures if he follows this thread. I think that must be where the water connection is, under the rag. I would also like to see the rear axle housings and some other clues as to any early parts.
The puzzle of the head would be fun to know more about. Is it a valuable, scarce item or a venture that didn't become popular?
