1922 Ford Model T Roadster Pickup FOR SALE

Post by Ray Harrell » Fri Feb 23, 2024 11:13 am

I am selling my roadster pickup , that I have have enjoyed for the last 5 years. It was owned by a railroad company in New York.It was completely restored by a Florida resident sometime around 2002 . It was then purchased at a later date By a gentleman in Kingsland Ga. I have driven it many times since then but am no longer able to maintain it.Looking for a new owner that will be able to enjoy it , as it is a wonderful piece of American History .https://www.mtfca.com/phpBB3/download/f ... 84032.Sale price $9500.00 or best offer.

I'd call it an "Express". (But I don't know at what point a roadster pickup becomes an express) When did Ford begin to offer a factory roadster pickup?

1925 was the first factory pickup.

I’ve only been in the hobby less than four years but my first T is an express wagon. I’m under the impression that a roadster pickup is a roadster with the turtleneck replaced by a pickup bed and would still retain the Model T seat, door, and top, whereas an express wagon would have an aftermarket body everywhere aft of the firewall (except maybe for Model T fenders and running boards) and no provision for a top. I would think that even with a Model T windshield the the original poster’s vehicle would be called an express wagon. Here’s mine:
