FS 1911 Ford Torpedo Roadster

Post by YellowTRacer » Sun Oct 06, 2024 1:50 pm

Well, it's back on the market. Hard to believe how many "serious" tire kickers are out there leading us down a path and then just fading away! And I won't mention any names. So anyone that was thoroughly disappointed for missing out, you now have a second chance. This could vie for the finest restored Model T Ford Torpedo Roadster in the world. Believe me, it’s that nice. Extreme high quality authentic restoration. Appears as it did when it left the factory in early 1911. (Undoubtably a little better!) Open valve engine. The owner died just after finishing the restoration, so it hasn’t seen the road since completed. The gas tank is sparkly clean as is the rest of the car. More pictures available on request. priced to sell $35,000.00. You won't find a better one.

Holy cow! Probably wasnt half that nice when new!
Just a 20 year old who listens to 40 year old music, works on 75 year old airplanes and drives 100 year old cars.
The past is only simple because hindsight is 20/20.

I have seen this car in person and it is exactly what Ed is describing. I have recently done a full restoration on a 1911 Ford Touring. It cost me well over $35k, that didn’t include my labor, and it is nowhere near as perfect as this Torpedo.

Yes, for real this time. Money has transferred. It stayed in California. Went to the right people. In Chatsworth.
