For Sale 1915 1916 hood

Best ever barn find.This hood has no serious rust. Only surface rust in places. Lots of shiny original paint on the under side. Old faded paint on the outer side. Would be good for your old beater or an old faded restoration, requiring no work. It has dents on the top two panels but can't seem to make them show in the pictures. Someone borrowed one of the underside support strips, along one front edge, but could be easily replaced with a piece of thin steel and rivets using the undamaged original rivet holes.See picture number 2. This hood fits all T's up through 1916 but is correct for late1915 and 1916, as it has louvers and is steel. 1915 hoods were aluminum a good share of the year but steel in the later part of the calendar year. Does not fit the 1911 torpedo which has a longer hood. Best old original early hood I've ever found. Good candidate to restore.$70.00 Would make a nice stocking stuffer if your feet are really really big! Steve

steel hood is 1916,not 15. 1915 hood is aluminum.
