Yes I also received two different emails from
“Larry Smith “
this morning, one asking me to answer a question
and the next two asking if I use Amazon.
So now I’m guessing a bunch of us will be hacked also.
Beware out there you all!

The emails form origsmith@.... I do not believe these are our Larry Smith's email addresses just someone making it look like it.
As an example getting one like "Frank Brandi" fbrand11@sgmail.com is not my email address but if you got an email like that you'd think it was me.

The real issue is that the scammer has OUR Email addresses. So how did that happen? Unless one of you contacted me in the past you don't have my email address and the only way for you to get it is to send me an email via the forum and for me to respond. So how were our email addresses obtained?
The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

I too received the request to buy some Amazon junk for you Larry ha ha.

I also got several separate emails each with a question but the last one with the proposal to buy something from Amazon and forward it to "Larry Smith" made it very obvious it was not the "real" person of Larry S. but the whole request was a rather obvious scam so I didn't bother to answer any more silly ideas that were being sent my way. If we find out who the guy actually is then maybe we could arrange a visit to his end since he was nice enough to contact all of us in search of his scam proceeds. Not difficult to figure out he was a scam once he revealed his request of having me send him so $$$ and he would reimburse it. What a joke.

Frank, someone may have some member's email addresses, but with Yahoo mail (Not sure if other email providers are the same), I can block the sender from sending me any email, even if I accidentally replied to his email to me.
