Dennis, the fellow who used to do magical restorations of brass lamps for us here in Australia could likely make a left side lamp do what you want. from your photos, it looks like the rounded sections holding the chimney and the font to the lamp body have the same footprint. If these two sections were unsoldered and swapped in position, a left side lamp could become a right side lamp. Perhaps this will widen you options.
