Got the ambulance complete enough to start the display and event season. But it can always use some bells and whistles. I have two WWI helmets painted with white circles and red crosses, but can always use fire extinqushers, haversacks, ammo boxes (wooden), uniform itesm, medical items, etc. Not asking to sell family heirlooms, but there might be something laying around the shop that might have a story to tell. Glad to pay for items and shipping, not asking for charity.
Let me know what you might have. Thanks in advance.

WANTED: Any WWI or early militaria items
Why do we drive on parkways and park on driveways?
A bunch of old cars
Sometimes they run.
Sometimes, they don't.

Just purchased WWI gas attack warning hand crank siren from a forum member. Thank you. Still could use anything WWI medical or uniform or web items. It's starting to flesh out.

Re: WANTED: Any WWI or early militaria items
Might have to start new thread on this question . . . I purchased and have received the Dietz side lamps posted above. I have the ambulance body on a 27 running chassis, so have no idea how to mount these. I'm thinking either out of the side of the ambulance body as work lights or inside the body as interior illumination, but they are kinda big for that.
But, what sort of mounting brackets would these lamps require? They are unlike anything I have dealt with in my limited T experience.

Re: WANTED: Any WWI or early militaria items
They were originally fork mounted, like T style acetylene headlights.
Those were probably originally used as headlights on a large truck, such as a Jeffery/Nash or FWD Quad or a Liberty truck.
