Bosch magneto and drive SOLD

Post by Layden Butler » Thu Nov 14, 2024 4:42 pm

This assembly goes in place of the generator on the side of the Model T engine. Brass covered magneto makes spark and comes with a control switch for dash mounting. Included as well is the original linkage bracket.

This was just purchased on Ebay for $256 on 10 November and reposted here 4 days later. I know that's all part of the parts game, but just thought people should know.

And you registered yesterday and this is your first post. Do you also have a complete side drive magneto assembly with magneto to sell or are you offering expert appraisal services in the free market section where prices are based on supply and demand?

If you going to pop on here and accuse someone of something post proof. And yes that's part of the parts game it happens

Tim the person making the accusation is not the person who made the post just figured I'd point that out

Yes Karl I believe we are talking about the same thing. Layden always has very nice things available and it is irrelevant when, where or what he paid for this item. Trying to "expose" what it last sold for is not a good introduction and I don't see any reason it was posted.

No accusation intended. People can make their own decisions and people have every right to sell things for whatever they want.

Just a note here. It is common practice on MTFCA forum for members that know a lot about the current value range of some T part posted on Ebay , that is listed for a bargain price , to post a heads up here on MTFCA , if they are not interested. What isn’t common practice is to post a comment about a current MTFCA ad that says , “ just saw that on EBay for half that price “ , it is better to just not say anything about the part .

Good for you Michael and you will like it. I have one on a car and one or two spares myself. That looked like a very good unit, if I was looking for one I would have jumped on it.
