Jay,
Thanks for sharing, fascinating it’s being used as a 4x4 to cross the river.

Think about all the work it took to anchor that zip line the car is attached to. Tough hard working guys; makes me wonder if this is a one time crossing or a place for other to cross at. Great picture.

It could be a 1909. No' top. Some 1910s were also sold with out tops.

The head light appears to be a model 19, so it may be a 1911m(I do not think it is a 12. By that time most all Ts had tops as standard equipment. Also moo windshield. Many nof the 09s did not have windsheilds or tops afrom the factory.

Appears the cable isn’t tight enough to hold the car up to clear the rocks it’s sitting on. Look at the fella closest to the car looking up at the cable.

Dan Trace posted this on another thread. I think it may be the same trip.

I know the Stanley Model H you speak of and I was fortunate enough to recognize and save the engine for it and reunite it with the brothers when they were restoring it. That Stanley has a great story and it's terrific it was restored.

I know that this run was recently reenacted in a 1914 model T for the purpose of a short video. I know the person who worked on getting the car going, but never saw the video.
