Sorry to undercut your thread, John, but a old friend of mine that doesn't use the internet, in fact doesn't have a computer or cell phone asked me to post his request. He is willing to pay $5000 for a decent, as he put it, Dearborn set up, complete. He's worked on Ts for many years but is now limited to bench work due to his age.

uncharacteristically bad form which is a surprise to me

as an aside, someone pulled this same stunt on me a year ago, buying the precise item I wanted, through my own ad, after stating on my ad that he wanted the same thing...this individual aggressively pursued respondents to my ad until he had bought the item. Ironically, a kind Forum member contacted me privately and brokered a deal for me on that item at a price below what I expected to pay. I made a good friend that day and hopefully John will have similar luck.

Really sorry about all this. I withdraw my post. If anyone does have a Dearborn set up for sale please deal with John. If nothing comes of it let me know. Im sure neither my friend nor I wish to generate hard feelings.
I agree with Jerry, John is a good guy. I already knew that from prior dealings though.

At the end of the day we are all in love with our Ts. I consider all of you brothers & sisters in line with the passion for keeping our beloved Ts going in the best possible manner we can afford. More often lately we have had folks become sick or worse. I’ve got more stuff than I need and if we can help each other that’s a bonus especially those hobbyist that are no longer capable of doing the things they use to be able to do. With that said one of these fixtures would benefit Richards friend more than me. Let’s see if we can find a set up of one of the fixtures for my friends friend, (Richards friend.) You know we can do this if we try hard enough. Best John
