How to Unstrangle your Kingston L-4... The New Kingston Super Valve - sold out

Post by Scott_Conger » Thu Mar 09, 2023 1:32 pm

Once I have gaskets in hand, I will have 10 of these Super Valves available for purchase. These may be the first of many or the last of a few, depending on response.

Improvements over the stock valve are as follows:
  • throughput is massively greater than a stock valve
  • has a superior Viton tip to seal far better than traditional steel tips
  • cannot get stuck closed, as there is a hook which will be acted upon by the float to ensure complete, on-demand flow

Great idea Scott. That little hook will sure eliminate the fairly common problem of the viton tip sticking in the seat. Ford even used a similar device to insure complete opening of that passage in the 60's with a steel needle and brass seat.
