WTB:1919-1925 Hogshead
I would like to find a 1919-1925 starter Hogshead in decent, usable condition for my 1924 TT. I would prefer to find someone close to me so shipping is not an issue but I won’t be too picky.
Thanks in advance, Jacob Mangold

Yeah, they have them for 125 dollars I believe but I would rather find someone close by.

Jacob
Try to find one that is mostly complete with the pedals. They are out there in various condition. I found one years ago that was complete but left outside and rusted up. It turned out to be a good one. You may have to spend a few dollars more but you’ll be ahead in the long run. Good luck. And make sure the ears on the corners aren’t broken off. Those are real cheap! So look closely for that. That’s the ones that were usually discarded. Buying a transmission cover is like buying a T block only to find that it’s has a crack in the water jacket. Hope this helps

Jacob I’m surprised that no one in your local club doesn’t have one. Have you checked? I’d send you one but the cost would be crazy.
