Accessory Do-Ray Cuckoo Dash Horn (SOLD pending)

Here is an original very rare early Doray Cuckoo Horn. It was made by the Do-Ray Lamp Company, which is interesting because they were known for safety lights and reflectors. This model is early, with a pat pending stamp. It has a removable mounting bracket. Later versions had a fixed mounting bracket. It was designed to mount to the outside of the dash, with a knob and shaft that extended to the drivers side of dash. When the knob was pulled, it emitted a loud “CUCKOO! “ sound just like a cuckoo clock. It is in excellent condition, nice polished brass flutes and body bracket. One flute has two minor dings. Nice satin paint. Works great when knob is pulled. Very rare and hard to find, perfect to tickle the ladies at the next meet or to tell other drivers what you think of them. 425.00 shipped US.
