FS early style ft axle assy

Second Tim’s advice… also add that the axle has some later parts. Spring is not the tapered early one. Shackles are not the Mae West or figure eight. Check the spindles if they have a DB marking? It would be good to see if the tie rod and the draglink are early. Wishbone is an early one. Spring perches have oiler holes so not very early. Sometimes you can get more $ out of it if you separate the pieces. Sometimes not. Thanks for sharing.

Typical late 1917 to early 1919 front axel, square end spring, fabricated shackles, tie rod adjustment on drivers side ( Left side ) , drilled for drive in oiler above axel wishbone perches. It looks like spindles are the later style with the flats but can’t tell for sure from the picture.
