Taking orders for ROUND TW brush again
Yep...going to make one more stab at a run of ROUND brushes for the TW timer. Need minimum of 12 to do it so plan ahead for your needs. I have 3 committed already...so at least need 9 more. They quoted $29.71 each plus I'm guessing around $6 will get em to you in the usual padded envelope. If I can get 18 units made it drops to $23.25 each plus ship.
Cutoff date is March 15. PM or email me thru this forum with your street address and email so I can keep in contact. PayPal or check as usual. Thanks.

There’s a guy on FB announcing the production of these and is telling folks to reserve one thru him by sending him their contact information. Is that something you authorized?

Guilty, Will. I worried it could look "flaky", but FB has a wide readership who don't participate on these boards. So far they mostly "like" the photos I posted.Will_Vanderburg wrote: ↑Thu Feb 22, 2024 10:34 amThere’s a guy on FB . . .

Tim:
seems that a cylindrical brush should be simple to make ... i don't know if the proper graphite materials are easily acquired , but the cost seems very high for what i would expect ... machining graphite is messy , but when done wet is very doable ... the only graphite materials i use are too hard for this application ( EDM graphite )... the machining would be the same as normally dome in a mold building shop ...Gene French

Got no idea since a lot of this is admittedly "out of my wheelhouse", I just know that this place as it turned out during my research with them last year, they did supply Tony with brushes, so I can only assume whatever material it is that's "the best for the job" is what they have. My last round brush order of 41 was something like $15 each which would be about right since the last I bought probly a year or 2 prior to that I paid something like $19 each. I always doubted there was much of a markup on those puppies.

Re: Taking orders for ROUND TW brush again
These are 1/4” round X 1” long. Would that be in the ballpark?

Just looking out for each other. I see scammers on the daily in my groups and am concerned of people getting soaked. Glad it’s all good.

Re: Taking orders for ROUND TW brush again
What Rich said above. Plus, "our" supplier first of all used to make 'em for Tony. They got the right specs. Gotta have the chamfer on the end, and the little hole drilled into it too for the "installation wire" that Tony devised not long after he introduced this fine timer years ago. I was one of his most earliest clients, even before he "improved" the installation procedure.
