FS: TT Emergency Brake and Cross Shaft…

Post by George House » Fri Mar 08, 2024 1:48 pm

….including taller cam. In excellent shape to include handle spring. Found a TT trailer and want to build a
truck ? You need this $75 system. Might have to find a very, very large pizza looking box for shipping. Plus FedEx
actual costs.

I don’t believe there’s a difference in the cross shaft. The difference is in the height of the curved cam that actuates on the transmission. The TT is taller like in my picture. And I see now that I can easily remove the rivet fastening the handle to the cross shaft to remove the former for ease and economy of shipment. The rivet isn’t peened over 😊

The cam height is the difference. It is taller because the TT frame rails are deeper, resulting in the cross shaft being lower.
