For Sale: Complete set of TT hub caps
I have two new chrome plated TT rear hub caps and one new standard size chrome hub cap and an additional very nice original hub cap that is chrome plated for $50.00 plus shipping. Emails only please

That one correct nickel plated front hubcap will be far enough away from the chrome ones that it won't be so noticeable, except to chrome haters. Nice set!

Hi Allan, All the hub caps are chrome plated but the original cap is slightly smaller than the reproductions. All the caps are stamped brass not cast.

That's interesting Phillip. The smaller front wheel cap on the left in the photo has a yellowish cast to it like nickel does. If that is the original, it will be slightly smaller than the repop ones available as the originals were stamped from thinner material.
The thicker repops saved a good friend from a nasty accident. The flange on the hub casting broke right around, and the hub was then divorced from the wheel, so he had no brakes, coming down a steep pinch from a lookout. The thicker hubcap prevented the wheel departing from the car, and he rode it to the bottom. He did report damage to his underwear!
