Zenith S4BF adjustable jets - another abandoned project
Make your S4BF carb run correctly for your particular car...
Dial in the high speed mixture just like you dial in the idle, with this good looking, compact device
Kit includes the needle assembly and custom jet
If interested in info: EMAIL ME DIRECTLY
A response here may be missed, particularly after the ad sinks out of sight, so: EMAIL ME DIRECTLY
I check my inbox when I come in from the shop, so: EMAIL ME DIRECTLY
Response to my earlier ad to indicate interest in this product was enough to make them but only a 1 time deal, so if you THINK you want one IN THE FUTURE, the Future is now, and the Future says "there are probably only going to be these five units, and that's it"
So, if you want one, EMAIL ME DIRECTLY

Re: Zenith S4BF adjustable jets available - 5 sets and probably that will be it
a part which cannot be bought anywhere else, for any price, deserves a bump

These are no longer for sale; this is just a public service announcement -
"Woe is me! Wherever shall I buy parts for brass carbs now that Stan Howe died???" or, "where are all the parts we used to be able to buy?" How many times have I heard this?
So, I made a small batch of these - after folks expressed enough interest in them to make some, I sold exactly one. Recently I made some beautiful U&J float valves and sold a whole 2.
Never again!
If you do not patronize the suppliers or purchase their parts, they won't make them - I know I'll make them for myself, but I sure won't make any more for sale! What a waste of time and materials!
The reality is that for every brass carb on a "T", there are 200 NH's, so advice to suppliers: stick with NH parts...they sell, when other carb parts will not. Having offered over 2 dozen different parts to the hobby over the years, only one has been a rollicking success and all the others are now a distant, and some not-so-distant painful memory. For folks contemplating a retirement gig: good luck finding an unfilled niche that folks will actually pay for. It's not as easy as it sounds...unless you'll work for free, and then someone will complain about shipping fees.

Re: Zenith S4BF adjustable jets - another abandoned project
I've had older carburetors with adjustable low and high speed jets, and I liked them very much. A fixed jet cannot be correct for all engines and all operating environments, no matter what the EPA demands.

Hi. Scott, I am presently running an 04 zenith with mixed results. If your adjustable jet will work on 04, I would like to buy one. The picture you show in the add looks identical except the throttle arm is in a different position. Please call email cost and a mailing address at stvanbeekat gmail.com Thanks Ted

Re: Zenith S4BF adjustable jets - another abandoned project
Zenith 04 will run great on an adjustable jet, but it's completely different than the S4BF fittings and while I have developed drawings and made one for myself to verify, I have zero plans to make any more.
here's the thing: You have to buy a carb - rebuild it - make drawings for whatever part you want, then you often have to buy or make a special thread tap/die if not in my stock of 150+ taps/dies, and finally, if you make one, it would cost a fortune; and if you make a bunch, they're cheaper, but history shows that no one will buy them, so the one that DID sell, you take a drubbing on.
Thank you very much for your interest, but I am pretty much done beating my head against a wall trying to sell this sort of thing, so am done.
My parts are as nice or nicer than the factory made, but I am not Stan, and that seems to be the crux of it. Sorry.

Just an idea: The Zenith 04's were used on a lot of Chevrolets . Perhaps check with the Antique Chevy guys to see what if any parts for the 04's may be made available ? -Dusty
