Wow. Laurel/Roof sixteen valve overhead. I have not seen many of those over the years.

Went and looked at it today. Can’t really tell anything about the head the pictures don’t already show. Bolted down it’s a question mark on what you’re getting. It’s already up to 2750 so I’m out. It does have one of the better whippet radiator shells I’ve seen but the core looks kinda iffy. The motor just looks like something to hold up the head. Again, without looking inside it’s a crap shoot.

Sold for $3250.00 plus 15% buyers premium plus about 10% sales tax. Brings the total to about $4062.00

I have to admit that I bid on this head, but I didn’t want it as much as the other guy. Bill Hills had a 16 valve in his Paco speedster and it had a distinct sound. I believe his son still has the car.
