Hello Mark,
Isn't the one with the S, the one determined to be flexible and not a good one to use? There has been a few discussions on this subject in the Forum in the not too distant past. I have two of them awaiting proof otherwise.

I've used them with no problems. I think it helps to ensure your timing cover is on center with the camshaft. Of course we all know the forum opinions can be somewhat stormy depending on the time of the month.
