I've got a bunch of rust triple gears hate to toss them so up for beer money (20$) and the ride other wise to the scrapper they go

Methinks it would be worth pressing out the bronze bushes on any that don't sell, before you send them off to the scrappers.

Believe it or not. If you ultrasonic cleaned those and bead blasted them, it is possible that some of them might be okay. (Not pitted).

The riveted ones have a larger running surface and are the chosen ones by some.
