Roadster top irons with canvas top $400

Post by 26-Roadster/pu » Wed Jun 18, 2025 8:11 pm

I’m not sure what year this roadster top will fit. It doesn’t fit 26/27 roadster. It is a little narrower than 26/27 Maybe you can identify what roadster they will fit by looking at the pictures. Thanks for looking.

$400 plus shipping or local pickup. I can bring this top to Seattle if anyone is interested. Thanks

Not '23 - '25 - only '26 - '27 had the slight curve at the body iron mount.

Most likely not a Ford top. Notice the wood formed bows go all the way around the curved portion of the top to the straight top sockets. All Ford square top sockets produced after the oval sockets incorporated the curved section as part of the metal socket, and not part of the curved wood top bow. The curved metal section on Ford bows have thin wood slats inserted to tack the bow pads to. The wood "bow" used in the rectangular Ford top sockets are a straight piece of wood- not curved at the ends.

It is interesting. I think it might be 26/27 irons that someone cut the radius pieces off the top of the irons and used earlier ford wood bows with them.

The pivot point curve is way too beefy compared to a 23-25 & 26-27
