For sale, one set of accessory shock absorbers

Post by billd » Sun Jul 27, 2025 1:20 pm

One set of accessory shocks. I don’t see any markings on them anywhere to tell me the name brand. I took them off my 1914 touring earlier this year, therefore an early model T with the wishbone on top of the axle. good condition, $600 plus shipping to the lower 48. The best way to reach me is by text message. My number is 419-217-8884.

These appear to be HALLADAY shock absorbers. note the ad for the rear perch bracket is identical & has screws to hold the cylindrical cup on.
Since the rears match the ad and the method to secure the cylindrical cup to the perch support is the same for the front, I think its save to assume the front are HALLADAY also. This rear design may allow them to be used with auxiliary brakes as well.
Not the artist may have rounded the top of the case but the perch is the same

I'm sorry to be posting this here, but I feel that a perspective buyer should know the history of this particular brand of shock absorber.

Nice set, I have always wondered why we're advertised (like hasslers) as shock absorbers when they are in fact springs.
