For Sale: Master Lock_ Fraim and Slaymaker_Numbered_Lock Padlock Keys

Post by Bud_T » Sun Aug 31, 2025 1:26 pm

Hi, I bought these four keys recently to try in the FORDLOC that I sold. They did not work in the FORDLOC but two others (non-original Master brand keys) did and I sold those with the FORDLOC. These keys MAY work in someone else's Fraim, Slaymaker, or FORDLOC, I don't know. I simply do not need them.
There are four keys, a Master Lock, a Master, a Slaymaker number 13 (looks brand new, NOS) and a Number 42 Slaymaker. The Slaymakers may also be referred to as Fraim Brand. The number 42 is marked on the back Slaymaker, Lancaster, PA. The number 42 is rusty, crooked and bent and may require some work to be usable. The number 42 is also wider than the number 13 key. The number 13 looks like a Slaymaker key to me from what I have seen on eBay, but let the buyer be the judge. The number 13 key was the correct width for my FORDLOC, but the key blank shape would not work. The Master Lock and Master are just similar keys. These keys are known as "warded" which means the notches fit in grooves in the lock cylinder. I would like these keys to get in the hands of someone who can put them to use. My FORDLOC had the key number (8) stamped on the bottom of the lock. If someone has a lock with the number 13 or 42 stamped on it, perhaps these will work. Or maybe a locksmith might be interested.

I am asking what I have in them: $12.00, and some more for shipping. I can estimate shipping better once I know the buyer's location. Since these are on a flat piece of cardboard, I will try to ship them the least expensive way I can, perhaps in a padded envelope via US Postal Service Ground.

Let me know if you have questions.

I accept check (will wait for it to clear), cash (in-person exchange) or Paypal Goods and Services (add the 3% fee that Paypal charges. I do not accept Paypal Friends and Family.

Thanks,
Bud_T (Ed) from west central OH.
