Acquired, Thanks! WTB 26/27 wire wheel lug nuts

Post by ModelTMark » Mon Oct 13, 2025 7:50 pm

Thanks Everyone, I acquired what I needed. This lack of new parts is going to be a downfall of the hobby. :(
The folks that bought Bob's did not pickup the manufacturing of all the parts that Bob was making. I'm now seeing cars being restored for the second an third time now, which is becoming problematic and expensive since parts are not available as they were a few years ago. I guess it couldn't last forever. Chaffin's won't restock these nuts unless they get 200 orders.

I'm looking buy 26/27 wire wheel lug nuts. optimally, I would like a set of 20 in reasonably good condition or better. Minimally, I just need nine (9), even if the the nickel needs replating. Please message me if you have one, nine or all 20.

thanks, Mark

I'll look, Mark - I might have a set of originals but would need replating.

Personally me and a few of us have just been buying stainless chromed 3/4" hex nuts that look very similar to the original ones.
The big benefit is you don't have to acquire an off size original lug wrench as we just keep a folding 4 way lug wrench under the seat with the jack.

Clint, Where do you find these stainless nuts that you speak of? I have model A nuts currently and don't like them. Jim
