FS The Ultimate in Transmission Options

Post by Henry K. Lee » Sun Nov 23, 2025 3:46 pm

Completely rebuilt Ford C3 Automatic with all the C3 accessories (starter, flex plate, torque converter, dip stick, cooler, starter, etc, etc) minus the forward adapter plate, rear has had extensive mods to go back to a shortened enclosed driveshaft. T engines will not load up with this beast. Puts the horsepower in balance with the torque with a very smooth non-vibration experience. BONUS..., no more sore left leg, braking is controlled by down shifting with no ill effects, etc, etc, etc.

$1,500.00 Email Only if interested. Don't need any purist smart remarks.

Henery:
I have a C-4 in my speedster that I love. Mine is an open drive shaft with the conversion to the rearend spool that make's it an open universal joint.
This car will be for sale later the year or early spring.

I know an awful lot of folks my age (late 60's) who are reluctantly selling off cars with manual transmissions because of leg issues. Maybe heresy to purists, but you certainly can't argue with the beautiful fabrication of that unit that answers to such concerns of maintaining enjoyment.
Call me anything you want...just so long as it isn't "late for dinner"
