Statistics do not lie…., from my graphs and selling items for years with market interest and values.., if it does not sell within 16 hours of posting with the quantity of views, there is a 92.6% that I will not sell it.

Calculating car values and trends the same way…, example, Model T’s since 2008 and have lost value and interest by 42% but the parts to keep them on the road since them has risen to 68%.

So in summary my square footage of shelf space and square footage in my shop is more valuable than the item consuming the space.

To each their own so to say.

Respectfuly arguing-
Most of us find more than just dollars and cents when valuing our model T's. There is a lot of passion and joy that goes into driving, fixing, and buying parts for our cars. I'm sure you are fully aware of this, as you have put a significant amount of time and effort into the vehicles you have crafted. Personally, I think are fascinating and very nice. However, I fail to see the reasoning for advertising something only to throw it away 20 hours later. 50% of the views are likely bots anyway. I hope you got your money's worth.
A lot of us aren't in the hobby because the market is good or bad regarding the cars, and could care less if our car is worth $10,000 or $16,000. We're in it because of the friends we meet, the camaraderie, and experiences we share. Sure, it's more expensive to get parts, but at least they're available, for the most part.
The hobby is what we make it.

I agree with the caretaker perspective, but we are often pretty free with suggestions concerning other people's money, time and space....

... Personally, I am thankful for those who make original rare parts and reproductions available to the rest of us (you know who you are). And I recognize that service to the community has its limits. Please hang in there as long as you can, but when you're done, I understand.

Wow, ...

... At the end of the day, I need to be able to USE the finite space I have without tripping over that bent camshaft for the 15th time. Model T community in general is pretty well equipped all things considered. You don't have to spend 50 years looking for the right fender or make many parts from scratch, unless it's a rare piece, compared to a lot of other types of cars the same age.
Most T parts are unfortunately, only valuable as car parts to people in the hobby. A lot of other people, as I'm sure most know, see it as either dirty old metal junk, scrap dollars, or stuff they don't have room for, or want. We have the ability to remake a lot of parts now, especially with CNC, but once that oroginal ford sock is gone, it's gone. I guess it's the battle we all fight.
It's a shame not all the parts can be saved. If I had unlimited space and money, I would, but I don't. I'm sure others feel the same.

Is anyone suggesting that we would all be better off if Hank had just thrown this stuff away without making it available at all, even for a short time? That would certainly be easier for him...

Guess that includes me also... I don't check the forum/classifieds every day. Check them as often as time allows. Had I seen them 4-5 hours earlier I would have bought it, guess not...
