forum operation question

Post by Jim Sims » Sun Jan 20, 2019 1:49 pm

After reading a posting, then using the back to forum link this takes me to the top of the page and must scroll down to the next posting. If I use the arrow back it takes me to the posting last read but does not indicate it was read. Is this normal?

A post will only indicate as read if you refresh the page.
The BACK button goes back to the previous edition of the page.

I drive a Model T ... Microseconds don't matter :D

For every Absolute Model T Fact there are at least three exceptions.

Yes. If you hit the 2019 forum it will take you back to page one and show which ones you have read. If you use the back button it will not show which you have read but will take back to last place you looked. When you are done with your reading session, hit the refresh button on top of page address bar area, it will update any post your have read showing as read. Other forums that use a similar set up often work about the same way.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

To add a note that you probably already know - for the above to work as described you must first be signed in.
