Hey everyone, I’m looking for a source in the Orange County NY area who can install a new top on a 1924 touring. Upholstery is out of my league.
Any leads would be appreciated - thanks!

It was out of my league too, until I tried it with a Classtique kit.
If you positively don't want to do it yourself, I was going to suggest contacting Elizabeth at Class-it-up.com, but I see that their website has been removed. Maybe Mike at Classtique can suggest someone:

Re: 1924 Touring top installation
Thanks for that reply. I’ve been on the fence for years at giving it a go myself, but it just seems too much for me to do. Meanwhile the time passes by.
Classtique makes a great kit for sure. They’ve been on my short list. Did you find that their kit was easier to work with?
If worse came to worst, I could somehow get my hands on a trailer and bring it someplace further, but that in itself would be a project.

Re: 1924 Touring top installation
With a friend who has done a top before, we are in the process of putting a 1924 touring top on right now, along with new interior. The Classtique kit has everything you need. I’ve had questions and Mike responds immediately to my phone calls. I highly recommend his kit and hopefully you are as lucky as I am and have some assistance. I’m not sure I would do it by myself.
Good luck!

Re: 1924 Touring top installation
Is there an installation tutorial on the web to look at, like a step by step? I bought the new top a year ago but need to replace the wood first, so be ready to do the top in a months or so. Frank

Re: 1924 Touring top installation
Bumping up my search for help in getting my top replaced. I’ve been in touch with the folks at Classtique - very nice people, but they don’t travel to install tops anymore.
I’m <this close> to pulling the trigger on the top kit, but I don’t want to get stuck with no way of installing it. I already have new wood for the back rail if that needs to be replaced too.
And please, don’t assume I can do this myself - I wouldn’t be here begging for help if I thought I could I’m pretty courageous when it comes to some things, but not something like this.

I’m located in the lower Hudson Valley of New York. I don’t have a trailer but maybe I can pay someone who does to help me get it to the installation location.
Thanks!
